Live concert in Chicago – Thomas Anders – singer of "Modern Talking" – February 20th – "Rosemont Theatre" – www.ticketmaster.com (Video)

THE CONCERT OF THOMAS ANDERS, SINGER OF  “MODERN TALKING” WILL BE ON FEBRUARY 20TH, 2015 IN THE “ROSEMONT THEATRE”

Several generations in Eastern Europe were raised with the music of “Modern Talking”. Prior to their upcoming concert in Chicago “Bulgaria SEGA” newspaper interviewed the organizers of this unique event “Baltic Etertainment Group”:

Q: What was the idea behind the name “Modern Talking”?

A: It is difficult to answer this question, since we never asked Thomas Anders about the “Modern Talking” name creation, but we promise to ask him right before his concert on February 20th, 2015 in Rosemont.

Q: “Modern Talking” is considered the most successful German duo. What is the recipe of their success?

A: The “Modern Talking” project originated in the spring of 1984, when Dieter Bohlen wrote You’re My Heart, You’re My Soul. At first he could not find a suitable artist to complete the act. Persuaded by Bohlen, the German pop singer Thomas Anders recorded the You’re My Heart, You’re My Soul – unaware of the impact it would have on the music industry. A few weeks after its debut, You’re my heart, You’re My Soul reached the top of the German pop charts. Sales exceeded 40000 singles daily. After their incredible success in Germany, Modern Talking released their hit in other European and Asian countries. They landed on charts in 17 countries, including Japan’s top 20, being the first German act ever to enter this chart. The single was # 1 in Israel and nominated song of the year 1985 in this country, but only # 55 in UK. They were elected band of the years 1985 and 1986 in Israel. Probably the recipe is – everything what’s the best was already found!

Q: Is “Modern Talking” still modern today?

A: The Modern Talking today, is a band ( 4 musicians) which since the beginning was playing music for Thomas Anders and Dieter Bohlen. After the group split the band has been performing with the singer of  “Modern Talking” – Thomas Anders.

Thomas Anders and “Modern Talking” band are very busy, they perform in European cities almost every week, and all tickets are sold out!
